Pamela J. Lilly

Pamela J. Lilly, a dedicated provider who took care of all, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2021. Pam, 69, of Grand Ledge was born September 9, 1952, in Charlotte, Mich., the daughter of Lenard and Arlene Root. Pam was an outspoken yet compassionate person. She met her husband Doug on the school bus and later married him, recently celebrating their 50th anniversary this past June. A wonderful cook, she provided her family with home cooked meals every day and she always had enough for everyone, no one ever went hungry. Pam was the “ring leader” of the circus that is Lilly’s Dam Dairy. She was a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of the family dairy farm. Loving her family and caring for them, especially her grandchildren and favorite “fur baby child” Charlie was one of the highlights of her life. She always considered friends and neighbors family too.
Pam is survived by her husband Doug; children, Jim (Naomi) Lilly, Jodi (Marc) Harag; sister, Marlene Smith; grandchildren, Mackenzi Harag, Cole Harag and Kyle Lilly; bonus grandchildren, Ashton (Chelsey) Wood, Brennon (Paige) Wood, Alexus (Joe) Wood, Brooke (Graham) Wood and Karmyn Winkler; and countless close friends and neighbors.
Friends are encouraged to support Pam’s family by attending services or sharing memories on her tribute page at prayfuneral.com.
