Gary W. Crews Sr.

Gary Wayne Crews Sr. 79, of Charlotte, died Saturday, May 8, 2021. Gary was born April 26, 1942, the son of Robert and Allison Crews. He graduated from Charlotte High School and later went to honorable serve his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Following his return from the war, Gary began working at General Motors where he retired after 41 years. Gary was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, The VFW, The American Legion, and The Loyal Order of Moose, he proudly volunteered at the clubs for different events.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Tammy Partridge of Cedar Springs, Tracy (James) Bishop of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Colleen Crews of Baltimore, MD; siblings, Liz (Paul) Forsberg of Lansing, Alan (Judy) Crews of Holt; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sue A. Crews; son, Gary W. Crews Jr.; his parents; and sister, Sandy Miller.
