Richard Ream

Richard Allen Ream of Eaton Rapids, passed away June 13, 2022, at the age of 74. Richard was born in Lansing, MI, October 5, 1947, the son of Alden and Junette (Carey). He worked as a lineman for General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1997. Richard was a member of UAW Local 652. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and dabbled in woodworking in his earlier years. Richard had a passion for traveling with his wife, playing with his grandchildren, and sneaking in a nap from time to time.
Richard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karan Ream; children, Richard (Gina) Holben of Clarkston, Lisa (David Kirklen) Ream of Lansing, Jill (Shawn Abbe) Holben of Eaton Rapids, Scott (Darla) Ream of Lansing, Jason (Beth) Holben of DeWitt; 16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Betty Jo (Tom) Stanger of GA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. Visitation will be the hour before the Celebration.
