Yvonne loved baking and she had her own cake business called Cakes by Yvonne making cakes for numerous weddings and graduations. Her family called her a confectionary artist because of the beautiful wedding cakes she designed and the cupcakes and brownies that she made. Last year she won the Eaton County Farm Bureau annual meeting dessert contest with her original delicious gooey cookie bars. She loved family gatherings where she would prepare a large meal and bake homemade breads and rolls. Yvonne also loved playing the piano, singing, reading, sewing and solving crossword puzzles. All are hobbies that she has handed down to each of her children and grandchildren. Her most recent proud accomplishment was her completion of the Lymphoma Society 5k walk.
She will be remembered for being a lady that was happy taking care of others and loved paying it forward. She also had a very warm and wonderful laugh and a very big heart.
