Charlotte Public Schools will be holding Community Engagement Sessions to bring into focus the needs and goals of the district regarding facilities and programs for the future.
As a district resident, all community members are invited to share their views and ideas at these meetings, which are scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the following days.
Please choose to attend one of the following sessions:
• Thursday, Jan. 11 in CHS Lecture Room.
• Monday, Jan. 15 in CHS Lecture Room.
Over the past year, the district began a process to document building deficiencies, determine enrollment projections and identify building needs. The Engagement Sessions will continue this analysis and bring focus and detail to the needs of the students, staff and community. The school environment, where teaching and learning take place, is a critical ingredient in creating quality education. Your participation in these sessions allows you the opportunity to help identify needs and create a vision for our district’s facilities and programs for the future. The entire community is encouraged to participate in these sessions. These meetings will be interactive, informative and structured to allow everyone to contribute. Join us to help shape the future of education in our district. Childcare will be provided free of charge (ages 4 and above only please).
