What was once known as Hill’s Auto is now under new ownership with a positive demeanor. Keith Pohl recently purchased the business now known as Charlie’s Auto Care. Affectionately named after Pohl’s toddler son, Charlie’s Auto Care brings experience and top of the line skills to service Eaton Rapids.

Pohl knows the value of customer service and kindness teamed with skill and knowledge for fixing all makes and models of autos. Along with his co-mechanic, Jacob Dickinson, Pohl prides himself on honesty and friendliness in service. “We have a good set of skills to get things fixed right the first time,” assured Pohl.

Pohl comes by mechanics naturally as he has been working on cars since high school. He took that passion to college at the University of Northwestern Ohio where he attained a degree in high performance automotives. Pohl has a unique skill set in Japanese imports in addition to all domestic built vehicles. “We run the gambit of it all,” Pohl said of their vast capabilities.

Charlie’s Auto Care performs everything from oil changes to large mechanical issues such as driveline repairs and is equipped to repair and maintain cars, trucks and vans up to one ton. They are a full-service garage with expertise in ABS break systems and air conditioning.

Pohl is community minded and wants the public to know that Charlie’s Auto Care is happily honoring coupons from the former Hill’s Auto that are being distributed at Eaton Rapids High School events. They will also be handing out candy at Eaton Rapids Trunk or Treat event this Halloween season.

Charlie’s Auto Care’s hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on the weekends. The shop is located at 313 Dexter Road in Eaton Rapids and can be contacted at (517)663-2626. Follow them on Facebook for updates and automotive tips.
