Deborah Ruth Fulger

Deborah Ruth Fulger, 58, of Eaton Rapids, a loving mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Deborah was born April 25, 1964, in Charlotte, the daughter of David Russell and Rosemarie “Cookie” (Willis) Banks.
She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1982 before moving to Texas and starting her family. Deborah was a devoted employee and she worked over 12 years as an account clerk at Westrock in Lansing where she developed a close group of friends. Deborah loved all animals, especially horses, which she will be riding in heaven.
She and her sister, Sue, travelled the state collecting row-by-row quilt squares and she adored the time they spent together. Their beautiful creations won acclaim and are cherished gifts to their family members. Deborah loved to spend hours in her garden which was full of beautiful flowers and vegetables. She loved the canning and homesteading lifestyle. She stayed busy with various crafts including all kinds of puzzles, painting ceramics with friends at Your Creative Space, making macramé plant baskets, cross stitching and just about any other fabric-based crafting that she could find.
She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Eaton Rapids, where she enjoyed deep fellowship and Faith with her granddaughter Annabelle every Sunday. Above all else, Deborah was love. She loved all of God’s creatures.
Deborah is survived by her sons, Chris Fulger and Jason Fulger; grandchildren, Annabelle and Hunter Fulger; her mother, Rosemarie “Cookie” (Willis) Banks; siblings, Marti (Don) Straub, Brian (Cindy) Banks, Sue Thompson, and Rose (Aaron) Jenkins; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her father, David Russell Banks in 2017.
