Donald Elwood Andrews, Jr.

Donald Elwood “Buck” Andrews, Jr., 53, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with family by his side. Buck was born December 3, 1971, in Charlotte, the son of Donald E. Sr. and Pamela R. Andrews.

Buck was a hardcore fan of the MSU Spartans. He enjoyed watching sports and cheering for his favorite team. He was also an avid deer hunter and would tread the woods in the early light, taking in the scents and sounds, and the peaceful atmosphere of nature, waiting patiently for a prize deer to saunter into view.

Buck’s love and passion for the outdoors prompted him to start his own property maintenance business recently, called “Lawn and Order.” With his hard work, meticulous attention to detail, and perfect lawn stripes, it didn’t take long for him to build a solid client base with the most satisfied customers.

Buck was a devoted family man and a loyal friend to many. Those who knew him, loved him. Buck was a kind and thoughtful man with a big heart. It is said that he was also a very patient man, and that putting up with Kati is proof of that, as fondly recalled by some friends and family. Buck will be greatly missed by his wife, father, children, family, and his extensive circle of close friends.

Buck is survived by his loving wife Kati (Moss) Andrews, son Owen (Grace) Andrews, daughters Ivori Moss and Harmony Silcox; father Donald E. Andrews Sr., sister Stacey Andrews, brother Shawn Andrews; father-in-law Ron and mother-in-law Jane Moss, sisters-in-law Megan (Matt) Andres, Mallory (Mike) Crowner, and Brooke (Chad) Jacobs; nieces and nephews Anastasia, A.J., Ashlynn, Tristen, Cameron, Makkena, Aubrey, Briley, Jocelyn and Helaena; Uncle David and Aunt Eldora Howe; cousins Erron, Keisha, A.D., Haven and Caiden; and his loyal canine companions Nipsey and Lil Man.

Buck was preceded in death by his mother Pamela R. Andrews, and grandparents Robert and Barb Paton, and Arthur and Zella Andrews.

Friends are encouraged to support Buck’s family by sharing memories on his Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
