Faith Cecile Morse

Faith Cecile Morse, age 93, of Grand Ledge, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Charlotte, Michigan. Faith was born on August 17, 1928, in Lansing, Michigan, to Donald and Cecile (Carter-Wagner) Davis. She attended school in Lansing, graduating with the class of ’45 from Lansing Central High School. After graduating high school, Faith went to work as an operator for Michigan Bell Telephone Company. She retired after 37 faithful years of employment. In her retirement years, Faith loved to garden. To help fill her spare time, she took up golfing and quickly became very good at it. Faith won several trophies as a member of various senior golf leagues. Above all, she loved her family and grandchildren and she will be deeply missed.
Surviving her are her children; son, James (Dawn) Morse of Charlotte, daughter, Anne Foreback of Grand Ledge; grandchildren, Morgan, Zachary, and Leigha; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Donna (Jerry) Brandt of Florida.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lee Morse in 1973; significant other, Grant McPhee; and her daughter, Donalee, in 2010; brothers, Edwin, James, and Caroll Don.

Following Faith’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
