Jackleen Hill


Jackleen Ann Hill of Colorado Springs, Colo. passed away peacefully on April 7, 2022, with her loving children by her side. She was born in Hastings, MI on April 17, 1945, to Howard and Serena Goodenough.
Jackie graduated from Vermontville High School in 1963 and entered Central Michigan University in the fall majoring in physical education.
In 1966 she married Ray Hill. The Hills loved coaching their three children at their softball games and never missed a game. Jackie owned Mountain Shadows Restaurant from 1984-1994. She then moved to Michigan for five years to help her sister with her Adult Foster Care Home in Bellevue.
In 1999 she moved back to Colorado and purchased a home with her daughter Tara. Jackie worked at Long’s Drug Store (photo Dept) from 1999 – 2006. She then worked a short time at Walgreens and then onto Costco where she worked from Feb 2008 – Oct 2014 when she retired.
Jackie loved Football and never missed a game. Especially her Denver Broncos.
She enjoyed visiting nursing homes and singing with a church group for a short time. She loved collecting angels and had thousands of them.
Jackie was a fun-loving mom, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Louis and Larry Goodenough, sister and brother-in-law Gwenith and John Lewis, and nephew Jeff Rick.
Surviving are her children Wade and Mitzi Hill, daughter Tara Hill and Fiancee Michael, and Chad and Magen Hill, Grandchildren Sierra, Summer, Tyler, Tanner, Naya, Kayahni, and step grandchildren. Her sister and brother-in-law Helen and Bill Swiger, Sister-in-law Betty Goodenough and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.
She will be laid to rest in her beautiful angel flower garden designed by Tara and Michael. She will be forever missed by her loving family.
