Keith Allen Goodnoe, age 67, passed away on June 6th, 2017, surrounded by family after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Keith was born on March 2nd, 1950 to Kenneth and Ronnie (Ebright) Goodnoe. He was a 1968 graduate of Eaton Rapids High School and was employed by Springport Steel, co-owner of Goodnoe Tool Products and then most recently ETRAN Transportation. Those close to Keith knew that music was his lifelong passion. He started playing when he was 15 and shortly after helped form the band “Friars of Youth”. He continued through the years as a member of many local bands including: Bad Breath, The “Us Band”, Rukus, Backtrak and the highly popular Fabulous Hitmen. His long time musical partner Doni Baldwin & Keith performed countless times as the “Goodnoe-Baldwin Duo” for many community functions and parties over the last 20 years. Keith and his bluezy guitar playing will be missed by many. Left with a lifetime of cherished memories are his wife Linda of 32 years; his mother; his children: Whitney (Charles) Calio, Summer (Mike) Earls, Shadd (Jenny) McMann, Jasen (Deb) McMann, Misty (Randy Long) McMann; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Linda (Bob) Lundberg, Cindy (Dean) Gaulsha; his wife’s loving family: Don (Pat) Keith, Don Jr. (Cathy) Keith, Doug (Val) Keith, Barb (Larry) Rice, Karen Olsen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother-in-law Belva Keith and brother-in-law Michael Olsen. Friends are invited to a celebration of Keith’s life on Saturday, June 17th from 11 am – 2 pm at the Edgewater Apartments Community Room, 223 North Main Street, Eaton Rapids, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations that will be given to a local musical organization in Keith’s memory.
