P. Roxanne (Rocheleau) Baker


P. Roxanne (Rocheleau) Baker, 86, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by family. Roxanne was born and raised in Cheboygan, Michigan and built a life centered around family, hard work, and community. Alongside her husband, Don, she owned and operated the M-50 Party Store for many years, creating a welcoming place for friends and neighbors. Following the sale of the store, she began a successful career in real estate, where she continued to serve her community with dedication, warmth, and a feisty spirit.

Roxanne found joy in the simple pleasures of life, reading, dancing, and spending cherished time with her children and grandchildren. She was a proud and active member of the St. Mary and St. Ann community and the Eaton Area Senior Center, where she formed many dear friendships over the years.

Roxanne is survived by her children, Mark Newman, Todd (Katie) Newman, Donna (Dan) Walker, and Noel (Chasade) Baker; three step-sons, Rod, David, and Brian Baker; her beloved grandchildren, Bobbi Jo (Lonnie), Jake (Brittany), Jillian (John), and Konrad; great-grandchild, Luke; sister, Donna Beachnau. Roxanne is proceeded in death by her parents, Oscar and Alfreda (Bellrose) Rocheleau; siblings, Gordon Rocheleau and Collin Rocheleau.

Visitation was Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 6-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte. A funeral mass was held on Thursday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlotte, with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Vermontville. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Mary Catholic Church. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
