Jacqueline Phyllis Warfield
Jacqueline Phyllis Warfield of Eaton Rapids, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2022, at the age of 98. Jackie was born on October 20, 1923, in South Bend, Indiana the daughter of John and Marguerite (Grandy) Hogle. She married Frederick Warfield in 1950. She had eight children. Jackie and Tiny were the owners of River City Meat Company and Friendly’s Restaurant in Eaton Rapids and Tiny’s Pioneer Restaurant in Charlotte. She was extremely active, even in retirement. She volunteered at ECHRS in Charlotte until the age of 92. Jackie was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids. She loved pets, especially her dog Odie and adored her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick “Tiny” Warfield; son, Frederick “Clinton” Warfield; daughter, Sonia Smith and brothers, Jack Hogle, Max Hogle and Stewart Beardsley.
Surviving are her children, Brenda Narezo, Terrie (Loren Worden) Prior, Diane (William) Price, Renee (Michael) Kirwin, Jerry Warfield, David (Sue) Warfield; 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 18 great great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Eaton Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in memory of Jackie. To share memories or leave online condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com.

Paul Lewis Coplin, age 88 of Potterville, passed away on April 21, 2022. He was a clerk at Grand Trunk Railroad. Service was held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.

Karen Jo Fox
Karen Jo Fox, a wonderful, very kind and loving grandmother, passed away peacefully Friday, April 22, 2022 with her beloved husband by her side. Karen, 78 of Charlotte, was born May 19, 1943 in Lansing to James and Carol (Johnston) Miller. A wonderful grandmother, neighbor and friend would best describe Karen. She was a fabulous host who took great care of her family, friends and neighbors. Sewing was one of her many talents, making clothes for her children and maneuvering the small tedious things such as Barbie clothes. Traveling the state of Michigan and visiting almost every single lighthouse with her husband, Moe, was an adventure that brought home a collection of lighthouses from all over the state. She loved garage saling with her sister-in-law and reading romance novels.
Karen leaves behind her devoted and faithful husband of 59 years, Gerald “Moe” Fox; three daughters, Robin (Spence) Cole, Renee (Brian) Dewey and Michele (Leo) Fox; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and brother, Mike (Laurie) Raines. She was predeceased by her brother, Brad Lett.

Keith Harrison Stewart Sr.
Keith Harrison Stewart Sr, age 96 of Bellevue, passed into glory on April 11, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones. Keith was born to Harold Eugene and Gladys Geneva (Hoover) Stewart in Williamston, Michigan on the “8th day, 7th month, of 1925.”
Keith had an exceptional life and all who knew him loved and respected him. Having been a dairy and crop farmer all his life, he possessed an extraordinary work ethic that he passed onto his children and grandchildren. He had the ability to see the goodness in others and was the first to help anyone who needed assistance. He once said he prayed while driving his tractor and that his church was in the fields.
Keith was preceeded in death by his wife of 74 years, Ada Jane (Maxwell); his grandson, Keith H. Stewart III; daughter-in-law- Marjorie (Evers) Stewart; and great granddaughter, Alicia Degroot.
Keith is survived by his four children: Keith H. Stewart Jr. (Marjorie), Harold D. Stewart (Sharon), Irene L. Vasilion (Charles), and Kenneth J. Stewart (Beth Stephens); 13 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren with one on the way. Through their married years, Keith and Ada fostered as many as 65 children.
The family would like to especially thank Keith’s granddaughter, Kay Graichen for being a wonderful care-giver to both Ada and Keith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Grace Community Church with Pastor Don Roscoe officiating.

Vickie Lee Van Liew
Vickie Lee Van Liew, 75, of Dimondale, died peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2022, in her home with her daughter by her side. Vickie was born March 4, 1947, in Lansing, the daughter of Elmer Archie and Althea Ruth (Strieter) Steele. She graduated from Everett High School in 1965. Vickie married the love of her life, Jerry Van Liew, on May 18, 1968. Vickie was an active member of the local Moose Lodge and Easter Seals and enjoyed time spent out to dinner with family and friends. She and Jerry went on numerous cruises all throughout the world. She was a huge MSU fan, holding season tickets for both football and basketball. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and going to the movies, and doting on her dog and her granddaughter.
Vickie is survived by her daughter, Michelle Van Liew of Grand Rapids and her granddaughter, Holly Hewartson, as well as her dog, Toby. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry in 2008, her mother in 1999, and her father in 1997.
