Wayne C. Shick
Wayne Charles Shick, age 70, of Hendersonville, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. Wayne was a Christian, musician, music teacher, Civil War buff, a U.S. Army veteran, and enjoyed politics. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Shick; and a brother, Donald Shick.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laurie Shick; sons, Troy Shick, Adam (Stefanie) Shick, Austin Price, and Jesse Price; a daughter, Tracy Shick; nine grandchildren, Lynnzie, Alicia, Anita, Alexandra, Carmen, Adriana, Xavier, Zack, and Josh; two great-grandchildren, Roman and Malina; his mother, Maxine Evans Shick; and brothers, Raymond, Wendell and Glenn Shick.
There are no services scheduled for Mr. Shick at this time but there will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.

Lowell W. Greene
Lowell Wayne Greene, 82, of Clarence Township, Mich. went to be with his heavenly father on April 15, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife Faye Greene, and family and friends. He was born October 6, 1938 in a renovated one room schoolhouse in Wilber Township, located in Iosco County, Mich., to Miriam (Amacher) and Frederick (Fred) Greene.
Lowell attended Cheboygan High School, worked at times on Mackinac Island, and attended Central Michigan University for two years. He started working at State Farm in Marshall, Mich. in 1959, where he met the love of his life, Faye Louise Barnett. They were joined in marriage on May 7, 1960 and were just three weeks shy of their 61st wedding anniversary.
He worked in the computer department at State Farm, and later at Austin National Bank and then at the IRS in Austin, Tex. Then he pursued his life’s passion of becoming a minister and attended the Preston Road School of Preaching in Dallas, Tex. for two years. He ministered for the Church of Christ in Coppell, Tex.; Deer Creek, Okla.; Molalla, Ore.; and Houghton Lake, Mich.
Lowell enjoyed spending time preparing and growing gardens, watching the weather changes, traveling and landscaping. He traveled to most states of the country with his family. In later years, visiting Mackinac Island with Faye and reading about its history and events became a hobby. Another hobby he developed was listening to and collecting music across numerous genres, amassing a collection of literally thousands of songs and song videos. Lowell especially enjoyed telling stories, most of them funny, of his family’s heritage and he also enjoyed spreading the word of Christ.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Faye; three sons, Todd, Travis and Timothy Greene; grandchildren, Acacia, Mitchel, Damien, Soren, Arica and Rebecca; three great-grandchildren; brother Wayne Greene; and sister Sara (Sally) Simard. Lowell was preceded in death by parents, Miriam and Fred Greene; one brother, Edgar (Harry) Greene; two sisters, Frieda Cook and Amy Buyse; and his granddaughter, Chelsea Greene.
The funeral service to honor his life was held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Vickers Springport Funeral Home in Springport, Mich., followed by a graveside service at the Rice Creek Cemetery in Marshall, Mich.

Jill B. Lea
The family of Jill Braden Lea wants to honor the life she lived by holding a memorial service filled with fun and great memories of her. Joan Horn
Joan Horn, age 93, of Bellevue, died on April 22, 2021. She was surrounded by her family as she went to her God and loving husband Donald.
Joan was a loving kind person. She was a member of the Bellevue United Methodist Church, where she was actively involved. She loved her artwork, crafts, gardening, and spending time with her many friends. She worked for Capital Florist for eleven years.
She is survived by her son and daughter, Greg Horn and Linda Francis; and a brother, Jim Mulvany; seven grandchildren, Scott Horn, Kimberly Horn, Sarah Lampert, Heather (Rick) Gourlay, Tim (Renee) Lange; and nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other dear friends that she considered family.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Bellevue United Methodist Church on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1 p.m., where friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of the service. Dorothy M. Rowe
Dorothy M. Rowe, age 75 of Martin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021. She loved camping, riding motorcycles, and most of all, her Bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Geno Davis; parents, Walter and Helen Darnell; brother, Michael Darnell; sister, Jean Darnell.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Major (Tammy) Rowe, Harold Rowe, Vernon Rowe, Heath Rowe; and their father, Harold Rowe Sr.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a life-long member of the VFW Women’s Auxilliary Charlotte Post.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Stegenga Funeral Home, 3131 South Division Avenue, Wyoming, with Rev. Scott Wiley officiating. Dorothy’s family greeted relatives and friends on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial was held at Grandville Cemetery.
