Daniel R. Campbell
Daniel Robert Campbell, age 77, died on January 30, 2021. A resident of Okemos, Mich. Daniel was a professor at Lansing Community College. A private graveside service was held.
David K. Jackson
David K. Jackson, age 85, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord on January 30, 2021.
Dave was born in Pontiac, Mich. on October 27, 1935. The family moved to Evart, Mich. where he graduated from high school, and then went on to graduate from Oakland City College in Ind.
Dave married Barbara K. Tomlinson in Midland on April 25, 1959. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage and raised their three children, David, Debra and John, in Charlotte.
He lived each day to the fullest; faith, family, work and fun. Dave served in the U.S. Army with an 18-month assignment in Germany. He worked at Dow Chemical Company in Midland and then Product Engineering at Lansing’s Oldsmobile Division. After retirement in 1989, he built their home on Eight Point Lake in Clare County. Dave was a very active member at the Farwell United Methodist Church and a current member of Kalamo United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his loving family; wife, Barbara; daughter-in-law Cheryl Jackson, Highwood, Ill.; children: Debra (Loren) Griffin, Charlotte and John Jackson, Bellevue; grandchildren, Katelin (Blake) Kennedy, Jessica Griffin, Laurel Griffin, Alexis Jackson, Ben Jackson; one great-grandson, Elliott Kennedy; sister, Karen Caszatt; and sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, Delmar and Bonnie Tomlinson; and sister-in-law, Norma Brooks.
He was preceded in death by their son, David and brother, James Jackson.
A private immediate family service, due to COVID-19, is being held at the Kalamo United Methodist Church with Pastor Jerry Bukoski officiating. His final resting place will be at Kalamo Hillside Cemetery.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Kalamo United Methodist Church, 1475 S. Ionia Rd., Vermontville, MI 49096.

Charlotte Carmoney
Mrs. Charlotte Carmoney, 77, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Sparrow Hospital, in Lansing, Mich.
Charlotte was born in Lansing on September 25, 1943, the daughter of the late Clarence Eldridge and Nellie Ramsey.
She was raised in the Charlotte area and attended local schools, graduating from Charlotte High School in 1962.
She was the wife of Raymond Carmoney. The couple was married on October 28, 1961, at the Charlotte Baptist Church. They began their lives in the Charlotte area until moving to the Nashville area in 1965. Charlotte took great pride in the care of her family, and their needs often came before her own. While her family was growing, they enjoyed camping together in Northern Michigan, and later at the summer campsite at Snow Lake Kampground in Fenwick, Mich.
Charlotte enjoyed shopping! Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she often began her Christmas gift shopping very early. “Black Friday” was an annual tradition, with Charlotte mapping her route days in advance to be the first in line when the stores opened. In her quiet time, she enjoyed doing word search puzzles and playing a game of Yahtzee. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters, and most recently they all took a well-deserved vacation to the East Coast.
Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband Raymond; her son, Bruce (Kitty) Carmoney; two sisters, Linda (John) Jane, Phyllis (Larry) Belcher; a brother, Ernest Ramsey; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Carpenter; her brother, Everett Eldridge; and great-grandson Dante.
Funeral services were held at The Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville, Mich. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with Pastor Charles Jensen officiating.
Interment took place privately at Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville, Mich.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Yvonne M. Moore
Yvonne Marie Moore, “Sis,” age 70, of Charlotte, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, doting grandmother and caring friend, died January 31, 2021. Yvonne was born September 28, 1950 in Charlotte to Lewis “Curly” and Maxine Anderson (McCallum-Callahan). A born caregiver, Yvonne owned Sunnybrook AFC from 1980-1987. Yvonne was an amazing cook and enjoyed entertaining and could make the most special memories out of every event. The most important part of her life included caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren from the moment they were born, until well into their adult years. Not a day went by that she didn’t see or talk to one of her 21 grandkids. Her grandkids brought joy to her and she had a way of making them all feel that they were the most important to her. She loved playing cards, casino trips and was an avid bingo player, playing slots on her Kindle, yard-saling and shopping were her favorite pastimes.
Yvonne will be forever missed by her husband of 51 years, Dennis Moore; children, Rick (Christina) Moore, Angela (Jason) Cove, Denise Orweller, Tony (Amanda) Moore; former son-in-law, Douglas Orweller; grandchildren; Britney (Jason) Adams, Briana Lashley, Dakota Ray, Bradley (Rusty) Moore, Matthew Moore, Ricky Moore, Christopher Moore, Brant (Taylor) Orweller, Brock (Chelsea) Orweller, Bryce Orweller, Kaitlyn Moore, Gabby Wilkes, Alyssa Moore; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Mya, Brooklyn, Lord Marie, Ava, Breaya, Brylee, and Gracelyn; brothers, Charles (Judy) Anderson, Stuart Anderson, Larry Anderson, Eddie Anderson; sister in law, Marion (Tom) Beech; brother in law, Richard Satterlee; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless lifelong friends that were very special to her including her friends of 55 years, Sue Morgan, Kumcha Sebolt and Kelly Stansbury. Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Anderson and Maxine Callahan; stepfather, Peter Callahan; brother, Lonnie Anderson; sister-in-law, Donna Anderson; son-in-law, Derrick Lashley; great niece, Kayla Anderson; great-nephew, Gage Anderson; mother and father-in-law, Sprague and Beulah Moore; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and very special longtime friends, Patrice Halloran, Rosalie Koziol and Ruth Bohucki. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services were at Charlotte Assembly of God, on February 4, 2021 with Pastor Charles Jensen officiating. Visitation was prior to the service. Interment took place at Bosworth Cemetery following funeral services. A luncheon will take place in the summer of 2021. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home.
Everett Cook-Kirsch
Everett James Cook-Kirsch, of Dowling, Mich., was born on July 25, 2003, to Richard and Celeste Cook-Kirsch in Hastings, Michigan. On January 28, 2021, Everett passed away suddenly at home.
He had this innate ability to connect with animals, especially cats; he was often referred to as the ‘cat whisperer’ in the family. Growing up, when Everett played outside, there usually was a cat that would seek out his attention. Everett loved fishing, riding his quad, and spending time outdoors around nature and his animals.
Everett was a junior at Bellevue Community Schools, where he was elected Captain of the Bellevue soccer team (#10). He played with many different soccer teams over the years with many a special soccer coach that positively influenced his life. In addition to soccer, Everett and his siblings were active in 4H. They showed cattle at the Barry County Fair with Baseline 4H Club. Everett had many friends that he loved spending time with and was rarely alone. He had many fond memories of the fun he had during the week of the fair and all the family occasions where we would laugh and share stories.
The family would like Everett remembered for his fun-loving personality that could make friends wherever he went. He was a friendly, loving young man that was adored and loved in return by many.
Everett is survived by his parents Richard and Celeste, his siblings Griffith (Stephanie), Marshall (Lacey), and Sarah. His grandparents Ron and Sarah Cook and Dick and Linda Kirsch, and Great-Grandmother Carol Stansbury. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles and cousins, Eric, Shelli, Ellie Farnum and Ryan, Lisa, and Jack (Backus) Kirsch. He leaves behind a huge family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
Everett is preceded in death by Uncle Chad Cook, Great-Grandparents Norm Healy, Don and Louise Cook, Jake and Lori Jacobus, Margaret, and Wilbur Kirsch.
