Cheryl D. Tabor
Heaven gained another angel, Cheryl Darlene Tabor, 69, of Charlotte, on November 30, 2018. She was born on June 24, 1949, to William C. Bowers and Lorene Locklear (Detherage) in Detroit. Cheryl will be remembered most for her selfless personality, and as a faithful witness and prayer warrior for her family and friends. She has been a devoted member of the Real Life Church in Charlotte, and shared her Godly spirit generously. She loved all people and was loved by all. She enjoyed being artistic and crafting time; gardening, reading, and attending church. She loved her family and the home that was created with them.
She was employed as a press operator at John Henry Multi-Packaging Solutions and retired in 2015.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Mike; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Shelly Ballard; grandchildren, Tyler and Jesse Ballard; brother and sister-in-law, William and Patti Bowers; and much loved pets, Daisy and Louie. She was preceded in death by her father, William Bowers and mother, Lorene Locklear.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Real Life Church in Charlotte, with Pastor Andy Shaver officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Real Life Church.

Diane K. Brammer
Diane Kay Brammer, 70, formerly of Charlotte, died peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Marshall. Diane was born September 15, 1948, the daughter of George and Barbara (Lewellyn) Radee. In her early years, Diane loved being outdoors in the sunlight and dancing. She married Phillip Brammer, and the two lived in countless places throughout the country as they followed Phil’s career with Owens-Illinois. Diane also worked 10 years with the company in Charlotte, before settling in to raise their daughters. Phil’s coworkers always looked forward to Diane’s delicious baked goods. She was a talented cook and enjoyed crafting and fishing. In their retirement, Diane and Phil spent years in Texas, Florida, and their final years in Charlotte. They enjoyed family time vacationing all across the country and visiting the many friends from their past hometowns. Above all, Diane loved her family.
Diane is survived by her loving daughters, Tonya Clough of Climax and Cindy Trumble of Fort Collins, Colo.; two grandsons, Davey Clough and Eric Trumble; sister, Vicki Wright; brothers, Toby (Rhonda) Radee and George (Kathy) Radee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Brammer in 2017, and her parents.
A memorial service was held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Charlotte, with Ray Black officiating.

Gary G. Carrick
Gary G. Carrick, 77, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018, at his home. He was born February 24, 1941, in Houghton Lake, the son of Guy and Alice Carrick. Gary graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1959. He then went on to move to Lansing. During his life Gary worked at many different jobs. He worked as a code enforcement officer for the City of Lansing, as a firefighter for the City of Lansing, and as a union bricklayer. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and canoeing.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Jamie Carrick of Charlotte; son, Timothy (Rebecca) Carrick of Lansing; four grandchildren; and sisters, Sharon Kravat and Gwen Wise.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores Fuller Carrick; and three sisters.
In keeping with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

Gary J. Frace
Gary Joseph Frace died peacefully on December 1, 2018 surrounded by family at his home in Grand Ledge. He was born October 8, 1936 to Joseph N. and Alta Ree (Lawhead) Frace at Hayes Green Beech hospital in Charlotte. Following his graduation from Charlotte High School in 1954, he continued his education at Ferris Institute (Ferris State University), earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1960. While at Ferris he was a member of the pharmacy fraternity Kappa Psi. He served his country for two years in the United States Army Medical Division stationed in Missouri, Ill. and Germany. After leaving the Armed Forces with a commendable record, employment awaited his return to Charlotte at Brown’s Pharmacy. He later relocated his young family to Grand Ledge where he was co-owner of Grand Pharmacy. Gary was active in the community in addition to being a member and past president of the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Ledge Parking Authority. He was also a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association, Arizona Pharmacy Association and past president of the Capital Area Pharmacists Association.
He enjoyed reading, fishing, music, cars, cherry pie, recycling and in 2003, fulfilled a dream of running with the bulls at the fiesta of San Fermín in Pamplona, Spain.
Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janiece (Snyder) Frace; children, Marcella (Thomas Alexander), Mercedes and Weston (Beth); and two grandchildren, Liza Josephine and Julius Frace.
A visitation to celebrate Gary’s life will be held Friday, December 14, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Peters & Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge.

Ellen J. Bishop
Ellen Joan Bishop, 77, of Olivet, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 1, 2018, at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 27, 1941 in Jackson, the daughter of Ivan and Eleanor (Coats) Strohm. While growing up, Joan attended school in both Olivet and Charlotte. She went on to graduate from Charlotte High School in 1959. On December 30, 1977, Joan married Alan Bishop in Olivet. They were blessed with 40 years of marriage. Family was very important to Joan. She adored all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Joan loved spending time together with them. She also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing, and singing. Joan was a devoted member of the West Carmel Congregational Church.
Joan is survived by her children, Sharon and Jack Irons of Mendon, Ann and Bill Lundy of Byron Center, Harry and Tracy Reynolds Jr. of Olivet, Michael and Linda Reynolds of Olivet, Lane Bishop of Olivet, Todd Bishop of Olivet, Sheila McLean of Olivet; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Strohm of Vassar; sister-in-law, Cheryl Church of Lewiston; brothers-in-law, Ron and Dianna Bishop, Ted and Judy Bishop, John and Donna Bishop; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alan; daughter, Mary Reynolds; and siblings, Allen Strohm and Carole Scott.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, with Pastors Darwin Kuhl and Charles Jenson officiating. Inurnment followed at Bosworth Cemetery.
