Diane Rachelle Johnson
Diane Rachelle Johnson of Eaton Rapids,at the age of 79, Diane was reunited with her husband, John, who passed away April 30, 2025. She passed away May 8, 2025, knowing that her beloved family was by her side. Diane was born in Plymouth, IN on July 22, 1945, the daughter of Leal and Annabell (Dexter) Long. She worked for Eaton Rapids Medical Center for 22 years before retiring. Diane was a people-person that enjoyed having company. She played many games of Bingo, Rook, Rummy, Euchre, and Domino’s with her friends and family. Diane was a college football enthusiast and enjoyed watching professional golf tournaments. Throughout her life Diane always had a dog by her side as a companion, Cocoa sat on her lap for the last 10 years up until her final moments where they shared laughs and Pepsi. Diane was a woman of kindness and generosity who will forever be remembered for her loving nature and passion for her family.
Diane is survived by her children, Randy, Rick, Tamara (Derrick), Timothy and Theodore Johnson; daughter-in-law, Rebekah; grandchildren, Brittany, Rachelle, Autumn (Nate) Emily, Benjamin, Jachob, Tyler, Maya, Johnathon, Collin and Cooper; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Steadson and Braxton; sisters, Betty (Jerry) Hummel, Joan Klingerman; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Thomas; brother, Robert Long; sister, Cindy Long.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Diane will be laid to rest alongside of her husband, John, in Rosehill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s Choice of Charity. Daniel Fauntley Snapp
Daniel Fauntley Snapp of Onondaga, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Daniel was born in Mason, Michigan on April 28, 1943, the son of Warren and Druscilla (Meabon) Snapp. He dedicated over six decades of his life to the craft of gunsmithing, a trade that earned him respect and admiration from all who knew him. On June 17, 1960, Daniel married the love of his life, Virginia, and together they raised four children. He was a lifetime member of the Lion’s Club in Mason. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virgina Snapp of Onondaga; children, Kenneth (Jerroll Bont) Snapp of Knoxville, TN, Steven (Lisa) Snapp of Mason, Cynthia (Steve) Coy of Cedar Springs, Wendy (John) Briggs of Eaton Rapids; grandchildren, David Lennox, Erin Andrews (Brice), Kristen Snapp (Blaze), Jamie Austin (Barry), John Coy (Mallory), Kellie Coy, Stacy Parfett (Reese), Joe Coy, Katie Coy, Jesse Coy, Ethan Coy, Spencer Coy, Titus Coy, Hayley Briggs (Mike), Tiffany Brunner (Todd), Jacob Ireland (Emily), Clay Briggs (Kristyn), Keenan Briggs, Bethany Briggs (Thomas) and 22 great grandchildren; sister, Kay Soderberg; beloved dog Bailey. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel. Visitation was Friday, May 9, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Robert Joseph Webb, Sr.
Robert Joseph Webb, Sr. age 86, of Onondaga, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born on February 14, 1939, in Tompkins Township, the son of Claudy and Lucille (McQuillin) Webb.
A 1957 graduate of Springport High School, Robert began his working life shortly after graduation. Over the years, he held positions with the local telephone company, Gullivers Hatchery, Eaton Rapids Hospital, and ultimately spent 28 years with Consumers Energy before retiring in 1995. Just before his retirement, Robert returned to his roots, farming the land where he was born and spent his entire life. He found great joy in working the soil, hunting on his property, and keeping a well-tended lawn.
Deeply connected to his community, Robert served as a scout leader and T-ball coach in Springport. He also cherished camping trips throughout Michigan with family and friends, creating many lasting memories along the way.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janice Webb; brothers, Robert and Tom Webb; and sister, Barbara Hawes.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Glenda (Newsom) Webb; children, Sandy (Jerry) Schroll, Jeanette (Dean) Dyer, and Robert (Candy Skinner) Webb, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Webb and Mary Hiesler; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In accordance with Robert’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory are invited to make donations to Pope United Methodist Church or the VFW National Home for Children.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses at Elara Caring Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Betty Louise Drinkwater
Betty Louise (Adams) Drinkwater, age 84, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, formerly of Springport, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 30, 2025, in the care of Henry Ford Hospice House, with her loved ones by her side.
A graveside service honoring Betty’s life was held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Pope Church Cemetery, with Pastor Matt Rhode officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Vickers Leslie Funeral Home, 121 Pearl St./PO Box 235, Springport, Michigan 49284.

John Raymond Johnson
John Raymond Johnson, 78, of Eaton Rapids passed peacefully at home with loved ones on April 30, 2025. Born September 25, 1946, in Halo, Kentucky to Johnathon and Margret Johnson. He was a devoted husband to Diane (Long) Johnson since December 4, 1965, and loving father to six children. John was a hardworking and dedicated tool & die maker at General Motors for 30 years until his retirement in 2006. Despite his many responsibilities, John always made time for his family and passions such as car shows, attending auctions, playing poker, a nice motorcycle ride, and the occasional round of golf. Above all, John’s favorite pastime was sitting beside his beloved wife of 59 years, waiting for company to stop by which many people often did.
John is survived by his wife, Diane; children Randy, Rick, Tamara (Derrick), Timothy and Theodore; grandchildren, Brittany, Rachelle, Autumn (Nate), Emily, Benjamin, Jachob, Tyler, Maya, Johnathon, Collin and Cooper; great-grandchildren Jaxon, Steadson and Braxton. John was preceded in death by his son, Thomas; parents, Johnathon and Margret; siblings James, Nell, Joel, Faye, Leon; and many dear friends. John was a man of integrity and kindness who will forever be remembered by his sense of humor and storytelling.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. A visitation took place one hour prior to the service.
