Andromeda Community Theatre is ready for Halloween with the frightfully fun production of “Dracula” taking place at The Country Mill in Charlotte. The Country Mill is already a fantastic place for fall family fun, and Andromeda Community Theatre is going to blow the roof off with this show.
The curtain goes up for the premier of Andromeda’s third production on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. Performances will also take place Friday, Oct. 9, Thursday Oct. 15 and Friday, Oct. 16, all at 7 p.m. The Saturday shows, Oct. 10 and 17 will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Dracula is the story of Lucy Seward — whose father is the doctor in charge of an English sanatorium — who has been attacked by some mysterious illness. Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, believes that the girl is the victim of a vampire, a sort of ghost that goes about at night sucking blood from its victims. The vampire is at last found to be a certain Count Dracula, whose ghost is at last laid to rest in a striking and novel manner. The play is intended for all who love thrills in the theater, and is appropriate for all groups.
Dracula tickets are on sale now and you do not want to miss them. Andromeda will have cider and donuts for sale at each show, and you can present your ticket at the Country Mill store between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the day of the show and receive 10 percent off your favorite fall treats.
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at https://www.showclix.com/event/ACT_DRACULA or by calling (269) 262-1943. The Country Mill is located at 4648 Otto Road in Charlotte.
