The guest speaker at the March 14th meeting of the Eaton Rapids Photography Club will be John Diephouse whose presentation will include photos he has taken.
Mr. Diephouse will be talking about techniques and concepts for visualizing and photographing water in its many forms. Water has played a central role in much of his photography – rivers, lakes, waterfalls, rain, snow, fog, frost, dew drops and more.
Primarily a self-taught photographer, John migrated from film to digital photography about fifteen years ago. He is attracted to a wide variety of subjects ranging from natural landscapes, botanicals and wildlife to images that provide either abstract expression or social commentary.
Mr. Diephouse has exhibited widely and has earned recognition in local, regional, and national exhibitions. His photographs are also included in several corporate and private collections.
The Eaton Rapids Photography Club holds their meetings on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings include presentations designed to inspire and motive those who have an interest in photography. Meetings are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eaton Rapids Public Safety Building located at 101 Line Street in Eaton Rapids.
