Hey out there to all the Saloon fans, you guessed it … the Charlotte Frontier Days Candy Ford Saloon is once again opening its doors for you to come hang out with all your friends, old and new. The Candy Ford Saloon will be the place to be Sept. 10 through Sept. 12.
Doors open for 2015 Charlotte Frontier Days for the first time on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The Candy Ford Saloon will host the Prince and Princess pageant, Marcia Weld Scholarship Competition and feature Tunes DJ’s rocking out the latest and greatest hits for everyone to dance to.
Another staple of Charlotte Frontier Days is the Dancing Deputies. They will be performing around 8:30 p.m. and y’all won’t want to miss that.
Friday, the Candy Ford Saloon re-opens from 5 to 6 p.m. for Happy Hour. Drink Specials are abundant during this first hour and there is no cover charge. At 6 p.m., the cover charge is initiated and is still only $5 for the entire night’s entertainment. Cottage Inn Pizza will be there, so there is no need to worry about dinner. There will be 50/50 drawings throughout the night. At 9 p.m. the Saloon welcomes for the first time, Collateral Damage to the stage. They are going to rock out the building. Tunes DJ’s will be playing on and off all evening, so there will be no time to relax, and we’ll keep that dance floor rocking. Again the Dancing Deputies will be performing and putting on a great show for all to enjoy. The Saloon will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday.
Saturday, the Candy Ford Saloon is open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. for the evening entertainment. Again Cottage Inn Pizza will be serving up the pie. We will have 50/50 drawings throughout the night. Dancing Deputies will be performing a couple times and Tunes DJ’s will be providing the early dance music.
Then at 9 p.m., Brian Lorente And The Usual Suspects returns to our stage and will be rocking the Saloon until 1 a.m. or maybe longer. There will be hourly drink specials and don’t forget the slushies. So mark your calendars, make an entry into your smart phone, do whatever you have to do to remind yourself to be in Charlotte, Sept. 10 through Sept. 13. There is so much to do besides the Saloon. Check out the Rodeo, Arts and Crafts, the huge parade, the car show, the Frontier Market at the Fairgrounds. Saturday bring the kids to Bennett Park for tons of fun for the kids.
