Adrenaline junkies, white knucklers, and scary movie lovers next weekend will be your chance to meet Hollywood film actor, director, and professional stunt man Douglas Tait at the Eaton Theatre for a meet and greet during the annual Festival of Oddities. Tait is professionally known for his roles in horror films such a Halloween Kills, Jack the Reaper, Annabelle Comes Home, and many more.
Eaton Theatre General Manager, Nicki, previously met Tait at Awaken Haunted Attraction and has kept in communication, which has led to this amazing opportunity for local adrenaline junkies to meet the well-known actor and Hollywood star. Awaken Haunted Attraction, based out of Leslie, will be there as well with the life-size figures of Tait’s characters of Jason from Freddy vs. Jason and Michael Myers from Halloween Kills.
Leann Owen, owner of Eaton Theatre, and her staff are looking forward to this special event for the community. Owen said, “This is a great opportunity for fans to meet him, we are excited as well. He is here for the fans.”
During this epic two-day meet and greet fans can get autographs, pictures, and have the opportunity to chat with Tait. Fans, you can bring your own items to have signed or purchase some of Tait’s own merchandise that will be available. His critically acclaimed show stopping films, Annabelle Comes Home and Halloween Kills, will be showing during the two-day event as well. Annabelle Comes Home will be showing at 3 p.m. and Halloween Kills at 7 p.m., both will be held in the downstairs theatre.
There is a pass that is required for the meet and greet that does include both of Tait’s movies. Purchasing a pass is valid for one day only so if you desire to be present for both days then two passes will be necessary. Passes are not valid for attending other movies.
