Locals in Business, a business-networking group based in Charlotte and serving greater Eaton County, is hosting its Sixth Annual Eaton County Home and Business Expo. The 2021 presenting sponsor, Eaton Community Bank, is proud to partner with Locals in Business, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the Eaton County Fairgrounds to bring this free family event back, with expanded opportunities.
The Eaton County Home & Business Expo Committee is looking forward to seeing everyone at their new location at the Eaton County Fairgrounds. The new location allows for adjustments for COVID guidelines. The vendors will be pre-screened for symptoms, extra wide spacing will separate vendors and allow guests plenty of room for safe social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the event, and masks are encouraged.
Joined by many businesses and non-profits who serve Eaton County residents and local businesses, this year’s Home Expo will feature over 100 vendors, representing banking and financial institutions, home improvement companies, bakeries and food vendors, small business service companies, area health and human services, churches and scout troop, schools and school groups, service clubs, farmers market vendors, lawn and garden and tree service, and much more. For a full list of participating vendors and sponsors, please see the center spread advertisement in this newspaper.
Be sure to bring a healthy appetite, as new and returning food vendors include Joe’s Gizzard City, Whistle Pig BBQ, Thirsty Bird, Evelyn Bay, Cottage Inn Pizza, Specialty Popcorn, Farmer’s Market Vendors, and more.
Come ready to take advantage of special offers and giveaways. This year’s Home Expo will be a one-stop shop for all of your spring and summer needs for your business, home, auto, lawn and personal needs.
Be sure to bring the whole family to enjoy lots of entertainment, games, a bounce house, contests, and other activities for the kids. Admission and parking remain free, and this year’s event will feature a walk under tent to the Theo Savage Exhibition Building, as well as a large outdoor tent, outdoor vendors and plenty of heat at the ready should the weather turn cold.
The two-day event is scheduled for Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find out more online at eatoncountyexpo.com.
