Thursday, Sept. 4 is Throw Back Thursday in the truest sense of the phrase since social media went overboard categorizing every day of the week. Can you honestly think of a greater time to throwback to than the 1980s with its crazy hair and gaudy fashion?
The Charlotte Frontier Days Board can’t either, that’s why they are introducing 80s Night at the Candy Ford Saloon. Ladies, it’s time to break out all of that extra Aqua Net you’ve been storing away and tease those bangs to epic heights once again. Gentlemen, it’s time to bust out your parachute pants, gold chains and dust off those old Adidas, because let’s face it, who doesn’t love the 80s?
The evening will include your favorite tunes performed by the band, Square Pegz. Drink specials all night include slushy drinks and $1 pucker shots. If nothing else, you won’t want to miss the “I Want Candy” candy buffet, featuring a variety of 80s candy favorites.
