Harmony Restorative Services first opened in mid-Michigan in January 2020. Their original location in Lansing was adjacent to the Lansing Mall. In January of this year, the practice expanded and relocated to downtown Charlotte, inside Flamingo Salon. Clinically supervised by Dr. Ted, M.D., Harmony Restorative Services treats patients in their new location as well as offering mobile and in-home services. Their motto is, “Restoring hair, health, and beauty naturally with your own stem cells.”
Harmony Restorative Services is a licensed and insured medical office with two components. Harmony’s Pain Management + Restoration is dedicated to healing patients using standard medical management and natural measures based on the body’s incredible healing properties using the patient’s own blood and stem cells. Harmony’s Pain Management + Restoration provides therapy for musculoskeletal and medical issues using Platelet Rich Fibrin/Stem Cells (PRF/SC). With outcomes comparable, safer, and often better than traditional opioids. They are studying the use of PRF/SC on lung issues caused by long COVID. “All treatments we use are guided by the medical literature and are not ‘fly-by-night schemes,” Dr. Ted stated. “I’ll always talk to you at your level, explain the procedure and teach you as we go. I’m a firm believer that education is half the process and as a result, the treatment success is higher,” he continued.
Dr. Ted has been in the mid-Michigan area since graduating from Tulane University Medical School in 1989. He moved to Michigan to continue his education. “I came to Michigan to complete my post-doctorate education and teach in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology through MSU. I had interviewed in several places including Minneapolis, Denver, and New Orleans. But when I flew into Lansing, there were several inches of new snow, the people were friendly, it was a university city, and the community was safe. I knew this was the place for me,” said Dr. Ted.
The new component to HRS, in addition to medical therapy, is a med-spa supervised by Dr. Ted. They offer traditional aesthetic and cosmetic med-spa services but specialize in PRF stem cell hair regrowth rejuvenation; non-surgical laser liposuction with no downtime; plasma fibro blasting – for the only FDA approved nonsurgical facelifts, as well as treatment of hooded eyes, crepey neck, knees and back of hands. Some of their most requested services are medical tattooing for scar camouflage; cosmetic tattooing for powder brows; realism brows; microblading; cosmetic tattooing of lips and eyeliner; PRF stem cell micro needling for stretch mark and acne scar removal; Botox; subtle needleless lip filler; tradition filler using a needle; medical grade teeth whitening; spray tanning; chemical peels; PDO threads and regenerative facials. Harmony Restorative Med-Spa also offers a custom line of skincare products and organic medical grade argan oil. Mari Rosario, the manager at Harmony Restorative Med-Spa says, “We take pride in our services focusing on non-invasive age rewinding – nothing artificial looking.”
