June L. Todd
June L. Todd, 91, passed peacefully from this life into glory on August 16, 2025 in North Carolina with her daughter by her side.
June was born and raised in the Lansing area to the parents of Earl & Maude McKimmy who resided on Robinson Road. She was one of nine children and would smile and say, “we had our own ball team.” She attended Resurrection High School.
June worked for Owens Illinois glass plant in Charlotte and eventually retired from Charlotte Public School System.
She was a woman of many talents and hobbies, but her passion was prayer, she was known by many as a prayer warrior. Praying for her family was how she started every morning. She was a long standing member of Mt. Hope Church in Lansing and filled many positions, divorce recovery, intercessory prayer, urgent prayer partner, and answering the phones in The Global Prayer Chapel just to name a few.
June had a light, fun loving spirit always up for an adventure whether in was traveling to Florida to spend time with Tim and Kassy or to North Carolina to see Frank and Bev or Greg and Jamie she loved soaking up that warm southern sun and riding to the mountains. She loved spending time with family and over the years spent most, if not all, of the holidays with her son Dave and his family in Potterville. Other special times were when her granddaughter, Stacy would stop by and say, “let us go granny.”
June is survived by her four children, Frank Paszkowski (Beverly), Dave Paszkowski (Donna), Jamie Proctor (Greg), and Tim Todd (Kassy). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. June is also survived by three of her five sisters, Troby Osmer, Mary Mooney, and Billie Grumblatt also known as Earls pearls.
Junes positive outlook, wonderful sense of humor, and ability to turn lemons into lemonade will be greatly missed by so many.
Celebration of life arrangements will be made at a later date.
